Construyendo un puente / Building a bridge

En esta entrada explico la fabricación de un puente simple para wargames hecho con elementos que se pueden encontrar en cualquier bazar. Estas son las herramientas y materiales que empleo:

With this post I explain the manufacturing of a simple wargames bridge elaborated with elements that can be found in any one pound shop. These are the tools and materials that I use:

 

Para empezar corto a su medida todos los palillos.

To start I cut all the sticks to its desired size.

 

Hago un chaflán a todos aquellos palillos que deben unirse en ángulo.

I make a chanfer to all the sticks that must be connected by an angle.

 

Para empezar a hacer los laterales fijé los pilares mediante pasta adhesiva.

To start making the sides I fixed the vertical beams with poster putty.

 

 

Y entonces se montan los laterales.

And then the sides are assembled.

 

Es importante comprobar que ambos laterales sean iguales.

It's important to check that both sides are equal.

 

Para montar la parte central verticalmente aproveché unas piezas de Lego como guía.

To assemble the central part I used some Lego parts as guides.

 

Este es el aspecto del centro montado. Como se puede ver, el centro se ha reforzado con dos travesaños inferiores.

This is the look of the assembled centre. As you can see, the centre has been reinforced with two lower beams.

 

Montamos los laterales de la rampa comprobando que tengan la misma altura que el centro.

We assemble the sides of the ramp checking that they have the same height as the centre.

 

Preparamos los laterales para montar la rampa.

We prepare both sides to assemble the ramp.

 

Es importante empezar fijando los extremos y el centro de los travesaños para evitar que la rampa se desmonte.

It's important to start gluing the beams in the extremes and the centre to avoid the ramp to get disassembled.

And this is the look of the finished bridge:

 

Como puede verse, este puente sirve tanto para escala 15 mm (en la primera imagen bases de 40 mm de frente) como para 28 mm (en la segunda imagen orks de Warhammer 40K).

As you can see, this bridge can be used for 15 mm scale (in the first image bases with a frontage of 40 mm) and also 28 mm (in the second image Warhammer 40K orks).
