The first Heretic / El primer hereje

Hace unos días he acabado de leer esta novela de Aaron Dembski-Bowden ambientada en la Herejía de Horus.

En ella se narra la transformación sufrida por la legión de los Portadores de la Palabra, vista desde la óptica de varios personajes como Lorgar, Argel Tal o Cyrene Valantion. Primarcas, custodes, marines, humanos y demonios se mezclan en esta interesante historia que arroja luz sobre el origen de la Herejía.

Considero que es un libro interesante y bien escrito, interesante de principio a fin. Completamente recomendable.

Some days ago I’ve finished Reading this novel from Aaron Dembski-Bowden, placed in the Horus Heresy.

It narrates the transformation suffered by the Legion of the Word Bearers seen from some the point of view of characters as Lorgar, Argel Tal or Cyrene Valantion. Primarchs, custodes, marines, humans and demons are mixed in this interesting history that explains the origin of the Heresy.

I consider that it’s an interesting  and well written book, from beginning to end. Completely recommended.

Reto de pintura 2021 : Junio / 2021 Paint challenge : June

Con objeto de mantenernos motivados, nuestro grupo de jugadores ha comenzado en Junio un reto de pintura por el resto del año: acabar al menos una unidad cada mes. Esta unidad puede estar compuesta por varias miniaturas, por un monstruo o por un personaje.

En mi caso he escogido completar el ejército Skaven que tengo comenzado. Aquí os dejo las miniaturas que hice en Junio: una unidad  de dos ratas ogro, un ingeniero y cinco monjes de plaga, con los que acabo la  unidad de 20 monjes de plaga que tenía empezada.

 

In order to keep us motivated, our playing group has started a Paint challenge in June for the rest of the year: finish at least one unit each month. This unit can be formed by some miniatures, a monster or a character

In this case I’ve chosen to finish the Skaven army that I’ve finished. Here I show the miniatures that I did on June: one unit of 2 ogre rats, an engineer and five plague monks, with which I finish the unit of 20 plague monks that I had started.

De vuelta a la vida / Back to life

He pasado un tiempo sin poder hacer ninguna entrada, así que ahora que vuelvo a tener algo de tiempo ya va siendo hora de devolver la vida al blog. My idea es continuar con la serie W40KBS junto con análisis de puntura y miniaturas, mientras podemos empezar a jugar de nuevo.

I've passed some time without any publication on the blog, so that now that Ive got some time it's the moment to revive the log. My idea is to continue with the W40KBS series along with painting and miniature reviews, while we can start playing again.
