El último reino (Temporada 3) / The Last Kingdom (Season 3)

 

En estos días he podido ver la tercera temporada de esta serie, basada en serie de Historias de sajones de Richard Cornwell.
Esta temporada marca un punto de inflexión en la serie, con la evolución o desaparición de algunos personajes. Uhtred de Bebbanburg vuelve a tener una suerte cambiante, siendo el protagonista indiscutible de la serie dentro de una constelación de secundarios con evolución propia.
Como en las dos anteriores se mantiene el nivel de calidad de la puesta en escena, y se prepara a la que se supone que será la última temporada, la cuarta

These days I’ve been able to watch the third season of this series, based in the Saxon stories novel series from Richard Cornwell.
This season marks a turning point in the series, with the evolution or disappearance of some characters. Uhtred of Bebbanburg has again changing luck, being the undisputed main character of the series among a constellation of secondary characters with their own development.
As in the previous seasons the quality level has been kept at the staging level, and also that it prepares to what is supposed to be the last season, the fourth.

 

Astra Militarum Bullgryns

Esta semana he acabado la primera unidad de Bullgryns para mi ejército de Astra Militarum. Los he equipado con Slabshields y una combinación de mazos y lanzagranadas para darles una imagen más impresionante.

This week I’ve finished the first unit of Bullgryns for my Astra Militarun army. I’ve equipped them with Slabshields and a combination of mauls and grenadier gauntlets to give them an even more impressive look.

 

 

W40KBS: Wake the dead

Introducción / Introduction:

Esta es una de las cajas de campaña que salieron en 2018 y que conforman la campaña de la zona de Guerra Vigilius, basada en los hechos acontecidos en el trasfondo generado por la 8ª edición.

Incluye 31 miniaturas con sus peanas (14 marines espaciales y 17 Eldar Craftworld) y dos libretos.

This is one of the campaign boxes that were released in 2018 and are included in the Vigilius War Zone, based in the lore generated by the 8th edition.

It includes 31 miniatures with their bases (14 Space Marines and 17 Eldar Craftworld), and two softback books.

Chimera

En las últimas dos semanas he estado pintando este transporte Chimera para mi proyecto de ejército del Astra Militarum. Armado con un multiláser y un bolter pesado proporcionará un transporte para mis fuerzas.  

In the last two weks I've been painting this Chimera for my Astra Militarum Army. Armed with a multilaser and a heavy bolter it will provide a transport for my forces.

Construyendo un puente / Building a bridge

With this post I explain the manufacturing of a simple wargames bridge elaborated with elements that can be found in any one pound shop. These are the tools and materials that I use:

 

Para empezar corto a su medida todos los palillos.

To start I cut all the sticks to its desired size.

 

Hago un chaflán a todos aquellos palillos que deben unirse en ángulo.

I make a chanfer to all the sticks that must be connected by an angle.

 

Para empezar a hacer los laterales fijé los pilares mediante pasta adhesiva.

To start making the sides I fixed the vertical beams with poster putty.

 

 

Y entonces se montan los laterales.

And then the sides are assembled.

 

Es importante comprobar que ambos laterales sean iguales.

It's important to check that both sides are equal.

 

Para montar la parte central verticalmente aproveché unas piezas de Lego como guía.

To assemble the central part I used some Lego parts as guides.

 

Este es el aspecto del centro montado. Como se puede ver, el centro se ha reforzado con dos travesaños inferiores.

This is the look of the assembled centre. As you can see, the centre has been reinforced with two lower beams.

 

Montamos los laterales de la rampa comprobando que tengan la misma altura que el centro.

We assemble the sides of the ramp checking that they have the same height as the centre.

 

Preparamos los laterales para montar la rampa.

We prepare both sides to assemble the ramp.

 

Es importante empezar fijando los extremos y el centro de los travesaños para evitar que la rampa se desmonte.

It's important to start gluing the beams in the extremes and the centre to avoid the ramp to get disassembled.

And this is the look of the finished bridge:

 

Como puede verse, este puente sirve tanto para escala 15 mm (en la primera imagen bases de 40 mm de frente) como para 28 mm (en la segunda imagen orks de Warhammer 40K).

As you can see, this bridge can be used for 15 mm scale (in the first image bases with a frontage of 40 mm) and also 28 mm (in the second image Warhammer 40K orks).

Esta es la caja de inicio de la 8º edición del juego que salió en 2017, y marcó un cambio en el sistema de juego, el trasfondo y en la escala de los marines espaciales.

Incluye 53 miniaturas con sus peanas (22 marines espaciales y 31 Death Guard), el reglamento en tapa dura de Warhammer 40,000, dos suplementos en tapa blanda que incluyen las reglas y trasfondo de las miniaturas incluidas en la caja, una guía de montaje y pintura, una guía de montaje y pintura, 12 dados de seis caras de color rojo y una regla transparente de 12”.

This is the starter box of the 8th edition that was released in 2017, and marked a change in the game system, the background and the scale of the space marines.
