Kill Team 2

Esta mañana hemos probado el reglamento de la versión 2 del juego Kill team en el CLub RECS de Gavà, enfrentando a las fuerzas de la Death Guard de Pep contra mis Iron Warriors.

Nuestra idea era repasar todos los pasos del juego posibles del juego y buscar la interpretación de las reglas básicas, cosa que hemos conseguido.  Hemos encontrado que es un juego que permite hacer partidas rápidas ambientadas en el mundo de Warhammer 40K, sin la necesidad de pintar un ejército grande (jugamos con tan solo 11 miniaturas) ni de revisar un reglamento extenso.

Creo que no va a ser nuestra última...

This morning we've tested the version 2 of the Kill Team in the Club RECS from Gavà, facing the forces of the Pep's Death Guard against my Iron Warriors.

Our idea was to check all the possible steps of he game and look for the interpretation of the basic rules, what we've done. We have found out that's a game that allows

to make fast games based in the Warhammer 40K world, without the need to paint a big army (we played with just 11 miniatures) or checking an extense ruleset.

I believe that it'snot going to be our last game...

                            

Chicoz orkoz / Ork Boyz

Este fin de semana he acabado de pintar la caja básica de Ork Boyz. Incluye 4 ork boyz monopose, a los que se les puede intercambiar la cabeza y el brazo. Con ellos, ya puedo ampliar mi banda de Kill Team…o empezar otra.

 This weekend I’ve finished to Paint the Ork Boyz basic box. It includes 4 single pose ork boyz, that can have the arm and head exchanged. With them, I can make my Kill team bigger…or start another.

Destacamento de patrulla del Astra Militarum / Astra militarum Patrol Detachment

Bueno, pues ya tengo acabadas las tres primeras escuadras de Astra Militarum: dos de infantería y una de mando, además de un oficial de compañía. Con esto ya puedo jugar a Kill Team, y tengo la base de un destacamento de Patrulla.

Well, I´ve already got finished the first three Astra militarum squads: two infantry squad and another command squad, plus a company officer. With these I can play Kill Team and I’ve got the base of a Patrol Detachment.

Ya tengo acabada la primera escuadra de infantería. Que también voy a emplear como base para un Kill Team del Astra Militarum…

I've already finished the first infantry squad. That can also be used as the base for an Astra Militarum Kill Team.

Blackstone fortress traitor guard

Retomando las miniaturas de Blackstone Fortress, he acabado la primera unidad de Guardia Imperial traidora. Si los rumores que corren por internet son correctos, el año que viene la sacarán como facción...

Aunque por ahora los puedo usar para mi Kill Team del Caos.

 

Re-taking the Blackstone Fortress miniatures, I've finished the first unit of traitor Imperial Guard. If the Internet rumours are correct, next year we'll see this new faction… But for now I can use them for my Chaos Kill Team.

 

 

 

Death Guard kill Team

Aprovechando las miniaturas del nº 2 del coleccionable Warhammer Conquest, he pintado mis tres primeras figuras de la Guardia de la Muerte. He empleado una versión simplificada de mi técnica de pintura, usando una imprimación verde en lugar de mi habitual negra, y el resultado ha sido una miniatura más brillante.

También he aprovechado para hacer pruebas pintando un contenedor del Munitorum para escenografía, también del mismo colecionable. El resultado es satisfactorio, pero hay que mejorar el acabado.

Using the miniatures from the 2nd issue of the Warhammer Conquest collection, I've painted my first three miniatures of the Death Guard. I've used a simplified version of my painting technique, using a Green base instead of my usual black, and the result has been a brighter miniature.

I've also made tests painting a Munitorum container to be used as scenography, also from the same collectible. The result is satisfactory, but the finishing must be improved.

Blackstone fortress Ur Ghuls

Dentro de los experimentos que estoy haciendo últimamente, he empleado tintas para pintar los cuatro Ur Ghul de la caja de Blackstone Fortress. Ha quedado...correcto, así que voy a seguir practicando con tintas en las miniaturas.

Among the experiments that I'm doing lately, I've used inks to Paint the four Ur Ghul of the Blackstone Fortress box. The result is...correct, so that I'll continue to practise with inks in the miniatures.

Ork Warboss

Finalmente he acabado mi Ork Warboss para Warhammer 40K o Kill Team. Es la miniatura que venía en la caja de Space Ork Raiders de Build+Paint, y destaca por encima de las demás de la caja por su tamaño y detalle.

Finally I've finishes my Ork Warboss for Warhammer 40K or Kill Team. It's the warboss miniature included in the Space Ork Raiders box of Build+Paint and stands out of the rest in the box by its size and detail.

Kill Team

El pasado fin de semana jugué mi primera partida de Kill Team en el Club RECS de Gavà. Mis Orkoz asaltaron a los marines espaciales de Pep para hacerse con el control de un edificio clave de una instalación imperial. Aquí dejo algunas fotos:

Last weekend I played my first Kill Team game in the Club RECS of Gavà. Mi Orkz assaulted Pep’s space marines in order to grab a key building of an Imperial enclave. Here are some photographs:

Como ninguno había jugado antes a este sistema de juego tuvimos que darle bastantes vueltas al reglamento para encontrar e interpretar cada sección, lo que ralentizó los primeros turnos. Pero enseguida aprendimos lo suficiente como para coger un buen ritmo y decidirnos a volver a jugar.

Mi opinión después de esta experiencia es que no es un reglamento complicado, pero como otros wargames de escaramuzas debe jugarse varias veces para poder controlar la cantidad de variantes que presenta. Y que una vez dominado, será interesante y divertido jugarlo. Así que voy a seguir pintando la horda Orka…

As any of us had previously played this game system we had to brood on the ruleset to find and understand every section, which slowed down the first turns. But soon we learnt enough in order get a good rhythm and decide to play again.

My opinion after this experience is that it’s not a complicated game, but as in other skirmish wargames it must be played some times to control all the variants. And that after mastering the game, it’ll be interesting and fun to play. So that I’ll continue painting the Ork horde…

Kill Team orks

Aprovechando la salida de este juego, he empezado a pintar mi primera peña de Orks. He empezado con estos cuatro Noblez de la caja Build+Paint de Revell y Games Workshop, que llevaba tiempo esperando para pintar.
With the release of this Game I've excused myself to Paint muy first ork mob. I've started with four Nobz from the Paint+Build box of Games Workshop, that I had been waiting to paint for long.
